Date for the Diary!! Awards Dinner 28th
The annual awards presentation dinner is coming up, so get your name down asap. The list is up in the clubhouse. Tickets are £40 each (although if you are a comp winner from 2013, you get a free dinner, and runners up receive half a dinner). Pay your fee at the bar and put your name down on the list.
Last year's awards dinner ended in fiasco as two longstanding members were caught mishandling the silverware! Caught on camera by an anonymous witness who had this to say : "Whilst I was Captain 2012 I observed some pretty ‘rowdy’ behaviour at our annual prize giving dinner with some members handing the trophy’s in an inappropriate way (see photo). It may be worth advertising not only the date on the website for the forth coming dinner but also request that members don’t manhandle the silverware!".
