Surrey 5s off to winning start!
AWAY WIN: WHAGC 3 v Banstead Downs 2
WHAGC walton artisans started their 2014 Surrey 5s campaign with a well deserved and hard fought victory against Banstead Downs.
The 5s captain, Glenn Deacon, lead the team home by example after being 3 down with 5 holes to play, dug deep to emerge victorious by 2. Other notable victories by Nick Giglio who despatched his opponent with the typical efficiency of a Mafia Assassin, winning by a huge margin of 7&6 (woof woof)... and finally Neil Armstrong, following on from his complete dominance in club matches in 2013, brought home the victory with a dogged 1 shot lead after going to an extra hole.
Jon Bishop and Darren Gallagher also turned up but failed to contribute!
